G+_Bill (CryptoMoore)
Quick question (I hope!!) for all the "Know'ers" related to receivers for quad/multirotors. I am currently running a Spectrum ds6 and been using the lemon receivers from RTFQ. I have been connecting them as usual using the 6-3pin server connectors to my Flight Controller (Flip32). I have been reading about a different way to connect the receivers using PPM which is a single cable that transmits all the signals (Thr/Ail/Ele/Rud/Ch1/Ch2. I am trying to figure out of my radio (DX6) can use this method as it seems to be much more simple (less wires)... Any thoughts or suggestions would be awesome Fr. G+_Bongo Nutty
I don't think your model of the Spectrum transmitter supports PPM. You could get a PPM encoder to convert the signal but take my advice and stay away from those things.
