I was thinking of buying a NAS.  I waslooking at either the Synology DS415+ or the Drobo 5N.  I was thinking of starting with a couple of drives and then adding a couple more later. This will be used for home use and maybe as a Plex server, running VMs as well as other things.  Any input from the group on which way I should go?  Thank you.

For NAS... I'd go with the Synology. Direct-connect, Drobo.

I run Synology and Plex works well... Had Droho at work over 5 years ago that died and data was unrecoverable. I t was backup of backup.. So no data loss but kinda soured me
