G+_Dean Chauvin
Hi all! I'm about to pull the trigger on a new Nexus 6P. I'm looking at the cases and wanted to know if the ADOPTED case with the textured microfiber back is working out for other folks. I think this is the case Jason Howell? has. Do you like it? Hate it? Is it worth $35? Let me know what you think! https://store.google.com/product/adopted_case_n6p
G+_Nick Miller
I ended up getting the folio case. I HATE cases on my phones, but I was terrified of dropping this phone since it's so slick with the metal. But, the folio case does not add a lot of bulk and I'm pretty happy with it. The brown looks really nice. https://store.google.com/product/adopted_folio_n6p
G+_Andrew Thompson
That case is great except it suffers from the same problem some others do. When you press one volume button it tends to press another, and it makes it hard to take screenshots unless you press the very bottom tip of the volume down button. G+_Jason Howell (raygun01)
I love this case. I've not encountered the volume issue that some people complain about with it. The soft back isn't as soft as it wa when it was new but still feels nice. And the footprint isn't ginormous with the case on. I'm sure its decent drop protection as well (though I'm not testing that out!). My wife has the Spigen case on her 5X and she LOVES it. It's pretty nice too, a bit bulkier but you can tell that its great protection.
G+_Tim Reeves
It's a great case. I just got it a few days ago. Very form fitting but grippy.
G+_Dean Chauvin
I was also looking at the Spigan cases (specifically the clear one). I think the ADOPTED one has a cool look and would provide better protection if dropped. Also, I'm guessing this case doesn't have the problem of blocking the laser autofocus as some other cases initially had. I've also seen reports of some cases affecting the flash a little bit, throwing off the exposure of photos.
G+_George Byers
Artem Russakovskii reviewed a bunch of cases. You may find it useful - https://plus.google.com/u/1/+ArtemRussakovskii/posts/G9QNaW8fMzk
