Sadly, I have begun skipping entire episodes lately ever since it became more "This Week in Quadcopters". Quadcopters don't interest me. I listen to and/or watch podcasts 25 hours a day, I can usually tune out the bits and pieces I don't care for, if they're interspersed lightly throughout or whatever, but when it comes to quadcopters and their tendency to take over the whole show, I end up tuning out the whole show. :(

If you wouldn't mind, I'd like to see more having to do with things like the RasPi and other hobby/education/tinker computers. Maybe a few kinds of them on a show, highlighting strengths and weaknesses of each one as far as learning how computers work, doing DIY smart things, how to program (tie-in with coding 101?), etc.

Then again, from the looks of it, the quadcopter stuff is pretty popular with the folks round here, so I guess I'm outnumbered. It would seem like this stuff warrants its own show, though.

I gotta admit, I have sort of the same feeling... But mostly because I don't have the time or money or place really to do RC stuff.... Living in the city can be annoying that way..... But hey, that being said, I think that if you spent nearly as much time on another subject, Android for example, we would become experts in something that might be a little more useful (like setting up backup solutions for our friends and family or replacing PC components)

I would be totally down with a separate series for Radio Control which would include quad copters and other RC interests.   Not saying stop doing drones but do more!   Quads are a great way to ease people into RC since they are one of the easiest forms to control.   Drones by the military interpretation are both quad copters and airplane style RC.

Ok am biased as I have tinkered with RC since the 1970s.  But Ya MORE please.

I agree 200% - the KH show should now be called the QC show. I am all for the quadcopter frenzy, but they are just toys. Seriously, Know How used to be a show not to be missed, not anymore. Bring the show back to what it was - tutorials and techniques on a variety of subjects. Not just a showcase for toys.

Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ , Padre not sure what you mean with the  "Previous entries" comment?  Where do I find said post? Take a look at nearly every post on this community - Quadcopters, post after post. Certainly it is a popular topic, perhaps worthy of it's own show. But please try to get Know How back on track. When you do, I can be a fan again.

Robert Taylor The group is not the show. Did you read my last post. That's LITERALLY a list of every topic covered on Know How in the last three months. Notice how Quadcopters are NOT the only thing we've covered. In fact, it's not even CLOSE to being the only thing we've covered.

I respect your opinion, and I understand that you're not a fan... and that's fine... but Quadcopters will continue to be part of the show... and it's perfectly on-track.

Padre, you've missed the point. I WAS a fan, a big fan. And I want to be a fan again, if you'd consider bringing back the content which made Know How great. The constant referencing of quadcopters turns me personally away. It would appear that I'm not alone in that. Since that appears not to be your agenda, I will just bid Know How farewell with best wishes and thanks for previous episodes from which I learned much.

I am truly floored by your response Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ ! And please don't insult my intelligence by listing the many subjects that were glazed over on the last couple of shows. Worse yet, even when the show was about things like InstaMorph, it was immediately tied back to - you guessed it - making parts for Quadcopters!

I guess just like everyone else who feels this way, I will go off and find other podcasts which deliver the content we used to get from Know How and TWIT. I guess that's just the way its going be - At TWIT, we do what we want, not what the viewers want. #sigh

Great show.... I am a big fan and I am glad the host listens to what most of the fans are interested in... Quadcopters are big right now and the show has become bigger at least by what I have seen because of it... I love tech and always will... look at all the post on quads.... name another subject that others have latched on to that degree of interest... I am sure there will be something else in the future.... but for now I am sitting back and enjoying... PS: building my own quad...

Love ya guys!!!!!
