G+_Donald Christian
What is the best duplicate file finder for Windows 7? My HD is getting full.
G+_Wayne Black
I just tried Duplicate Cleaner Free and was amazed at how many duplicates it just found in my documents folder. For instance rtf files in different languages. Give it a try: http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/duplicate_cleaner_free.html
G+_Travis Hershberger
With the drive starting to fill up I've found that wintreeview is a much quicker/easier option than just tracking down duplicate files. When it finishes a scan you can tell real quick where the large files are. I found a VM once I thought was on F, but ended up on my C drive. For some reason my system drive was almost full! G+_Jeff Brand
WinDirStat doesn't find duplicate files, but it's very helpful to visualize usage and help you find the folders with the bloat. Free, portable app. I've used it frequently since I started to use a smaller SSD. :-\
G+_David Hagy
I really like Spyglass software when looking at what files are filling up my hard drive. It also has a duplicate file finder that you can use to find duplicate files and flag them or delete them.
G+_Michael Rawson
CCleaner has a Duplicate Finder in the Tools section. I haven't used it yet so can't vouch for its effectiveness but I do love the other core parts of that program :)
