G+_Daniel Eaton
I'm going to be selling my 7" Galaxy Tab 2 and replacing it with something newer. What is the best tablet out there right now in that 7" or 8" form factor without me having to sell my son and cash in his college fund to pay for it? Would it be the 2nd gen Nexus 7? Something else? G+_Nestor Custodio
Yes to the Nexus 7 "2".
G+_Bush Williams
I would get the new 7" Nexus if it were my choice.

G+_Daniel Eaton
Just found this comparison between the two. Food for thought. http://www.phonearena.com/phones/compare/Google-Nexus-7-2013,Samsung-Galaxy-Note-8.0/phones/8021,7677

G+_Bush Williams
Just sold my Note 8 and went to the new nexus. The Note 8 is garbage by comparison. Between unacceptable battery life, slippery and cheap plastic housing, and the lower res screen it just didn't cut it. Especially after the novelty of the pen wore off
G+_Richard Aitken
Nexus 7 Mk 2 if just for entertainment and the Galaxy Note 8 (which I have) if you want a bit more productivity
G+_Cass Morrison
I love the Note 8 for screen size. If you want crazy resolution check the LG tablet when it comes out or you could go with the Tab3 8. If all you want is bang for buck go with new Nexus 7. G+_Daniel Eaton
I'm disabled and not very productive. It will primarily be used for social networking (G+, Gmail, Facebook), calendar, games (strategy/puzzle more than arcade/shooter), and some streaming both on the device and to the ChromeCast. Will likely also use it for some ebooks and audio books.
G+_Ryan Yates
I love my note 8, but mostly use it for annotating PDFs for class and taking notes in meetings. Sounds like the better screen and graphics power of the N7 will be the best for you. And you can save a few bucks!
G+_Daniel Eaton
On my disability budget, and the fact that I rarely ever get past the range of my wifi, the cost of the Nexus is a very real selling factor. I don't really need LTE or 3G or anything like that. I could always tether to my S4 if I need to. :)
