G+_William L. DeRieux IV
I just watched episode 166 of Know How and had a few comments on some of the things in the show. To disable the windows 10 notification dialog -- you could use msconfig to disable the process that starts at login. You can also use a feature of process explorer, from SysInternals, to search for a process with any open handle (by clicking find/handle in the applications menu) that matches a search string (eg: 'system32/GRX') that would show you any process that had an open handle matching that string. Also, the Yellow MINI-PRO 2405 multimeter (that was shown) does not have a continuity setting, you would need to use the resistance or ohms setting on the dial. The setting that was selected is actually for testing diodes and might give false or improper readings -- possibly even putting a voltage into the circuit under test, that could damage the circuit, to overcome the diodes forward junction potential. EDIT: I also forgot to mention that to quickly find an update (using the control panel to list installed updates) you could type in 'KB3035583' or other search string in the upper-right hand search box to quickly find the update,
