Ken Jancef, Here is a writeup I did for controlling the fan using an Arduino and PWM

David Peach Well, I'm happy to report that it worked!! Starting the fan at 100%, pause, then dropping to 30% worked like a charm. So, other than neatening things up, I think I'm good-to-go... there's not any other mod for my enclosure that I can think of. I printed a mount-type thing for the Arduino/breadboard, but I think I'll let it sit exposed for now. I also made the wires longer for the sensor so I can have it more towards the top of the enclosure. I'll post up a picture of it in a few minutes.

I can't thank you enough for the help, I REALLY appreciate it!!!

Ken Jancef, Great! That thrills me to see this come together. Now if you have a place online where your project can live you can write a post about the various parts (code, info and physical hardware) that you put together to make this all work.

If you wanted to hide your temperature sensor, you could mount it at the top of the printer on the bottom side of the top bar. It may not be as high up that way, but would hide it if you cared to do so. I have LED lights on mine tucked up inside that channel.

My printer met an untimely death this weekend. Working with Monoprice to get it replaced. The board is not reading the thermistor for the hotend correctly.
