You guys were so kind in visiting and talking about the last Instructable I wrote, I thought I would let you know about this one. No batteries or LEDs were inconvenienced in this project (so sad).

It is something my wife put together that goes along with the bag that Bryan, Patrick and Padre did on the Make it Sew episode (#308).

My wife did the work and we worked on the text together. I just submitted it tonight (for entry into a sewing contest Instructables is doing). Because it is a new submission and my co-author is in bed before it gets a final edit, there may be a few things that get improved over the next couple of days.

Enjoy! https://www.instructables.com/id/Make-a-Purse-From-an-Old-Pair-of-Jeans/

David Peach Nowhere does it say a "maker" has to be with electronics. My mom did a LOT of sewing in her day, and my dad used to be a mechanic... so maybe that's where I get my "making" from.

If you wanted to put your personal touch on it, you should put a LED array on it, and with an Arduino have messages displayed on it... .sort of like a GoodYear blimp... lol...

Seriously though, good stuff... :)
