G+_Jason Perry
The AI one also looks interesting too. Lots of good Bundles lately.
G+_David Peach
I couldn't get excited about the AI bundle, but I'm glad they are giving good variety for makers.
G+_Ben Reese
I bought this set. My first Humble Bundle purchase.
G+_Rud Dog
When you buy are you buying a bundle, groups of bundles with no member, subscription fees?
G+_Ben Reese
You buy the bundle of books. They're delivered as individual downloads. All are available as PDFs, most are also epub, and 1 also as prc (not sure what that is). They offer both direct download and torrent.
G+_Rud Dog
Ben Reese Thank you. What do you use to read your books?
G+_Jason Perry
Personally I enjoyed using my Kindle till I broke it the other day.
G+_David Peach
I prefer my Kindle for the vast majority of books; however, the Humble Bundle books are the exception. This is because these are the type of books to have many pictures and illustrations. They look better on my tablet using the epub version in the Google Books app. The .prc format is the one you would use for a Kindle. It is a version of the mobi file format. G+_Jason Perry
David Peach the AI one only really interests me for the OpenCV books. At this point I have zero interest in the machine learning books.
G+_David Peach
Jason Perry OpenCV looks cool. I guess I was familiar with the technology but I didn't know that was the name. One of the nice things about the bundles is that even if there are only one or two books you really want it is cheaper than buying just one of the books normally. G+_Jason Perry
David Peach very true, I will typically pay the full $15 because it is only $15 and who knows when you might want the reference. It is so much easier keeping an electronic library.
G+_Rud Dog
Hacking and cutting through the jungle of videos, books, and articles written to detail how projects are completed for use with ESP8266 in the form of an interactive web page are few and far in between. First, you need a basic understanding of HTML. Then you need an understanding of C++ Finally, you need how to combine the two syntactically for use as a sketch running on the ESP8266 via the Arduino IDE. Finding lost treasure is an ongoing project in its self. If you have found such a book or video please let me know. BTW I have found bits and pieces but nothing simple and at the same time in depth. G+_don rhodes
Make sure you you specifically set where you want the $ to go, otherwise most of it goes to the publisher.
