G+_cody climer
I'm an android dork. I keep up with all the hardware trends and OS details, but the only brand new Android phone I've owned is the original Droid. Flagship devices have historically been absurdly expensive so I've usually used devices that are a year or 2 behind. But the LG G4 has had a pretty steep price cut so I was able to get one from T-Mobile and I'm pretty impressed. Who else has spent most of their time a generation or 2 behind hardware wise?? G+_Michael Atkinson
If you're on contract, you are always going to be a generation or 2 behind over it's course. Unless of course you got a Sony phone, and then you are 5 generations behind in a year ;) Still rocking my LG G2 for example. at least until Feb. Still love it though. G+_cody climer
Michael Atkinson? that's a pretty good phone. Being a generation behind doesn't seem to be as big of deal as it once was. My husband is using a Galaxy S3 and is very happy with it. I think it was one of the first phones to really be adequate for years of use. The G2 was a phone that nailed it even better.?
G+_Michael Atkinson
cody climer Agreed. Main reason I didn't upgrade this year. Sure, there are better phones out there, the G4 being one of them, but not enough of a jump to justify the cost imho. The S3 was a fantastic phone, and if it still works for what he needs...why change? Bragging rights really ;)
G+_John “NotSo” Bright
I have had an LG Flex (used) for almost a year like it. Looking at new zenfone 2 or a new Moto.
G+_cody climer
Richard Bergstedt the G4 seems pretty impressive, I was on a Note 3 (it was a used phone I got for pretty cheap), before and only got the G4 because I was changing carriers. I think the G5(or whatever it will be called) will be out in April.
G+_Jeff W
Have the G4, but have a Moto X pure Pre ordered
G+_Roland Jay Roberts
I'll probably get the new Moto X Pure around Thanksgiving. Motorola has had some nice sales the past couple years.
G+_Michael Atkinson
Roland Jay Roberts it if tempting but I'm not reading many good things about it's battery life. There always seems to be something with every phone.
G+_Roland Jay Roberts
Michael Atkinson Well, by then we'll have heard all about the battery life, including longer-term use. And Marshmallow ought to improve it somewhat, as well.
