G+_Neil Sedlak
Who else thinks the Google should prioritize system update downloads to users with Developer Options enabled? After all, people that use developer options already expect to be cutting edge and should be willing to deal with crashes. :)

G+_Shawn P. Conroy (Shawn)
You make a fair point. But then people would turn it on just to get updates faster. Google should allow people to get bleeding edge updates if they promise not to complain about it until it's released to the general public. A public beta test list. You know? G+_Joe Phelps
AT&T provided the 4.3 update for my One. Google doesn't control OS updates on most devices.
G+_Neil Sedlak
Talking about Nexus devices here. +Shawn P. Conroy well that's the point. Dev mode is a request for advanced features and a promise not to complain. You explicitly agree to it, and it would get releases into the hands of the people that cared enough to do it, which is not the average user. G+_M. L. Hunt
It's not a bad idea, but if I had some input into Google's issue prioritizing, I'd have a considerable list of things ahead of it. Like restoring all the functionality they took out of Google Maps at the last update, or fixing mobile Gmail so it doesn't truncate longer items with no way to read them except to sit down in front of a desktop machine and open them in a browser. G+_David Siebert
So you want Google to track who turns on Developer options?
G+_Neil Sedlak
If Google isn't tracking this already, and it's pretty likely they are, it would be trivial to add it as a flag to the update check.
