G+_Nelson Bello
How many people have a cracked Moto 360 here?
G+_Ted Fishman
Not mine but this isn't the first warning post. Apparently it does happen to many. It's due to the band putting stress on the plastic back (plastic for wireless charging). It's been advised not to strap on the band very tightly. ? Motorola has so far been very responsive to replace the watch under warranty.
G+_Nelson Bello
Well that sucks. I wear it with a bit of wiggle room, not enough that it rotates around my wrist but enough to slide it up and down a bit.
G+_Ted Fishman
I love the wireless charger. I think it's worth the fragile back. Fortunately due to the posters I'm conscious not to overstress the band. ?
G+_Ted Fishman
Nelson Bello?? You probably snagged it somehow. I guess it just happens sometimes. ? If you want to know how many put a poll in your post. ? It's easy to add one.
G+_Nelson Bello
The wireless charging is why I went with the Moto 360 over the G Watch R as it didn't change my nightly ritual at all. I just take it off like my old watch and place it on the charger instead of directly on the nightstand. Now I'm just wondering if this crack will grow and how it affects the water resistance. G+_Ted Fishman
Nelson Bello Somebody said there is a water seal under the back so it wouldn't affect it. I can't verify that. Why don't you just have moto send you a new watch? I understand it's pretty painless.
G+_Benjamin Pavel
Nelson Bello Click on the second link in this Reddit post to see the survey taken weeks ago...the number is quite high. http://www.reddit.com/r/moto360/comments/2ia31f/help_me_collect_moto_360_crack_data/
G+_James R
No problems on mine. However, I swapped the band for a Pebble Steel band, so that may have helped (who knows?).
G+_Ted Fishman
Benjamin Pavel? 20% is high indeed but the subject of the post probably affected the response rate. If mine had cracked I would have been compelled. ?
G+_Benjamin Pavel
Ted Fishman You know that also goes both ways...there are probably a lot out there who don't use Reddit at all and had cracked back and just returned the watch without participating in the survey. :)
