Pranav Sharma the 6P has plenty of custom ROM support. It probably has more support than the OP3.

 

But, instant updates from Google trumps the other reasons.

Pranav Sharma, how much better is the camera? The 6P is phenomenal, especially in low light. As for processor, I've never had a problem (though Nougat is a little taxing, but it's also beta), and rarely do I run out of RAM.

 

Either way is fine, but the cameras are on par, and you get instant updates with the 6P (which are months delayed on the OP3), plus I can run the Developer Preview on the N6P (or any other Nexus device).

Timothy Carter??? then you're an idiot, plain and simple. Staged roll outs of updates is the best way to assure that all updates are safe to install and bugs/boot loops etc. can be caught before widespread damage is done. If you can't understand that, you're still an idiot, and an impatient one at that, because the update does come every month, just not when you think.? can you say the same for any other manufacturer?

 

Also, If you want/have the mental capacity, you can download and install the ota manually on the first day of release.?

Let's look at Samsung. They put on a brave face but outside of their current flagship phones, which phones are getting security updates every month, never mine not getting updated to v6.

All my Nexus devices received the July Security Update today (the 13th). Dated July 5th, so slightly delayed by the holiday! I have the Nexus 5, 6, 7, & 9. I still have my Nexus 4, but it is not updated anymore!
