G+_Jan Scott
Very happy with my nexus 7 and so would be happiest to stay with the range. And a wee bit bigger would be nice.
G+_Ryan Ballard
As much as I use my tablet for gaming (I considered the shield), I would go nexus for the updates.

G+_Paul Werner
Been weighing this in my mind for a couple days now and since I have the N7 (2012) & and N5 I'm thinking going with the Shield Tab is the route for me to update my tablet. You can get the Shield, case, & Wi-Fi direct controller for $400 (16 GB version with expandable storage up to 128 GB) compared to $400 for the 16GB N9 alone. Since I'm going to use it for tons of games I like all the added things that Nvidia has done with gaming in mind. I'm sure you can do some of the same on the N9 with other unofficial apps (like Limelight) but having a better choice in the gaming controller and having it all built into the OS seems better to me. There are some things that are better in the N9 but not enough to justify the extra cost for me
G+_john ferris
I pick the shield as I primarily use a tablet for gaming.
