G+_Marlon Thompson
Is this further evidence of the Android Silver program? Originally shared by Android Police Jackie who? Nope, not ringing any bells. http://www.androidpolice.com/2014/06/18/lgs-communications-director-ken-hong-tells-android-police-there-are-no-nexus-devices-in-our-pipeline
G+_Joseph Cappellino
I would venture to say, "No, this is not evidence." Just because LG isn't making the next Nexus, doesn't mean there isn't a Nexus program. Samsung made two in a row, LG made two in a row, now maybe it's time for Motorola or HTC (again) or Sony (that would be pretty awesome) or some other manufacturer. What I "predict" is that there will still be a Nexus program (a high-spec'd low-price unadulterated device), but that the GPe program will morph into the Android Silver program, and that it will hopefully include all of the flagship devices from the major manufacturers (not just a subset: Xperia Z Ultra anyone?).
