G+_Phil Chung
Ooh, available in Australia too. the LG watch is listed as A$249 and the Samsung watch is A$250. Decisions, decisions. Any word on expected battery life for both these watches? I'm kind of leaning towards the LG right now.

G+_Roy Delgado
Philip Chung no official word I've seen on battery life but the LG has a larger sized battery.
G+_Jason Howell (raygun01)
LG supposedly has the larger battery and less resolution which means better battery performance. Samsung has better industrial design, better screen, and heart rate monitor. Man, it's a total toss up I think. I have no earthly idea which one I'm picking up tomorrow morning. Sorry I know, not helpful. ?
G+_Phil Chung
I keep flip-flopping between the two. The Moto360 looks too thick.
G+_Marlon Thompson
Jason Howell since your our man on the inside could you confirm with someone that all the features of the Gear live will work with all devices as on Google Play its specifically mentions working with Samsung phones. Also Leo mentioned yesterday that the heart rate sensor may only work when stationary. I think that today they are going to allow for more hands on of the watches from I/O participants. If your not able to no problem as I'm sure Android Central or Ron Amadeo should give us a breakdown soon.
G+_Phil Chung
Marlon Thompson - it just says "Smartphones running Android 4.3 or higher " on the requirements here in the Play Store here in Australia.
G+_Marlon Thompson
Philip Chung this is the text on the US and Canada site "The Samsung Gear Live is compatible with all Samsung phones running Android 4.3, Jelly Bean™ "
G+_Phil Chung
Marlon Thompson Oh right, well this is the text further up that page here in Australia Bringing Android to wearables Android Wear extends the Android platform to wearables. The Samsung Gear Live is compatible with all phones running Android 4.3, Jelly Bean™ or higher, and all of your favourite Android apps will display notifications on the Samsung Gear Live. So I guess it'll with non-Samsung phones then?

G+_Brad P Sr
I have a Gear2 Neo and love it. I am using it with a Galaxy Note2 running 4.3. Easily two or more days between charges though I do charge it every night.
G+_Jason Howell (raygun01)
I would guess that, as it's running Android Wear, it should work with all devices with Jb and not just Samsung devices. But I will see. It sounds like I will be grabbing the Samsung watch today. Mike is getting the LG and we want both for the studio.
