G+_Marlon Thompson
My Android Wear Observations: The annoyances Today I had to wear a suit, bad idea because I was also wearing my Gear Live. The sensitivity of these watches are crazy. I was walking while listening to podcasts and the watch kept activating and just the touch of the cuff of my suit led to the podcast pausing, skipping forward, skipping back. I was forced to activate the baby time app to lock the screen. Apps like pocetcast which you can control via the watch because it uses rich notification also has a bad side effect. If you close the app on your phone , the controls remain active on the watch and the only way to clear them is to disconnect the watch from the phone, fix that Google. Finally, the watch lags at time, this may be caused by the 1 weather app which could be optimized more but on a small screen like this the lag is a killer. One more note from me on this on what I think Motorola and Apple can do to really win in this space.
G+_Shawn Co
I've wondered why it's always on. Less screen time means more battery. And why is it any touch and not capacitive?
G+_Marlon Thompson
Shawn Co the always on screen isn't so bad because I get a full day with it. The issue is that the screen is supposed to become active when you hold the watch up yet it continually activates when my I'm waking and the watch is at the side of my body.
