G+_Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ
I think we all know by now that I have no social life... So when I get bored, I think of projects that you might want to see!
G+_610GARAGE
Would it look better if you put the battery and electronics on the band? P.S. What is "social life". :)
G+_Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ
Thought about that... but I wanted to keep it clean. I've created a new enclosure that's curved (so it doesn't look like ass) and the idea is to have power on one side, electronics on the other. Still working on it... :)
G+_Robert Moreno
Looking at those blue goggles and then the LEDs, I instantly thought of the night vision goggles from Jurassic Park.

G+_George Kozi
Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ That white ring with the box on the side needs a little brass mesh radar dish on top... And if you can make it move (scan... not rotate, but oscillate) with a little motor, you hit the jackpot. But only have a radar en one side... go for the asymmetric look. Think that little radar R2D2 had... That way, when you look at someone with those goggles, you are also scanning them. :D http://www.artoo-detoo.net/gallery/v/reference/ESB-R2-LFS.jpg.html?g2_imageViewsIndex=

G+_Dominick Valentic
Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ Curved is a good start I would say and maybe if you add some embellishments like screw heads and gears to the enclosure would give it a little more of that hand made victorian look
G+_Gilbert Knarr
Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ? Great idea. And for the gears like Dominick Valentic? mentioned, buy a bag of old watch gears off eBay. An idea for using the bigger ones (where you really don't have much room to add on) is to use them with a top hat. And you can hide the battery and electronics inside the hat. Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ? was it Robo3D that is making the iron infused PLA? Using that or copper (if they make it) for your printed parts would look great. G+_George Kozi
Wayne Hobbins if he does that, the bowler should have one of those early German military helmet spikes on top... http://cdn2.bigcommerce.com/server6100/a9579/products/1674/images/5713/GERMAN_FLAT_MOTORCYCLE_HELMET_WITH_SPIKE__49378.1372261618.1280.1280.jpg?c=
