Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ, I'm sad that you're moving on from my favorite podcasts, but I'm also happy for you. New gigs are always exciting, and you'll be seeing more of the world than most ever do. Yup, you're already doing that, I suppose. Anyways, on your walk you will enrich so many, be enriched by as many, and you're doing His work. Happy trails, brother.

Do me one solid, though; hijack as many Security Now episodes as you can. You and Steve are the best combination on TWiT, by far!

We'll miss you Fr. Robert. You've helped me keep and expand my interests here, and in the enterprise space.

You've also given me things to keep me occupied when health let me at home. You are a blessing and a compliment to your order, and an example of how to live faith.

I'll end here- it's starting to sound like an obituary.

Thank you.

Father....I was born a Catholic and love science and technology.....but lost my faith in the church until you came about to make me proud again to be a Catholic. I enjoy your shows and your loved of people. We will miss you when you leave. ..please keep in touch with everyone.

PadreSJ One man's loss is another one's blessing... Bristol to California is a lot harder than Bristol to Rome. So now I have another reason to visit Rome. That's not to say you won't be a big loss to TWiT and to us but I admire your observance. My wallet will be thankful to see you leave but my heart and my head won't be :). Please do keep feeding us project ideas once you're on the right side of the pond.

Father Robert, while it has been an unconventional ministry, it has still been a ministry! God bless you and you will be missed. I only hope twit/you can find someone half as good as you and they'll be fine. You have been so awesome to listen and be a fan of.! Thanks for the quality content you've provided us with.

As a techie, I'm ashamed to admit this, but I just recently discovered TWiT.tv. Yes, I'm holding my head down in shame right now :(... lol.

When TechTV (with Leo, Patrick, Kevin, etc) was no more, I was literally in "technology limbo". All the latest tips, tricks, gadgets and gears; not to mention the know hows (tutorials), etc... all GONE! It was hard for me to keep up to date with what was happening in the world of technology on my own. Until a month ago, when I came across TWiT.tv. I'm no longer in "technology limbo". My tech life literally has new meaning again :). Even my wife is happy with my renewed "IT spark", except when I hog up the Roku watching TWiT or the previous episodes on YouTube... lol. But she's still happy for me, nonetheless.

I must say though, after I saw Fr. Ballecer build, mod, controlled a few things with Raspberry Pis and Auduinos, I was like... :o OMG. I've always seen Raspberry Pi's showing up as a recommendation on my Amazon account, but I never took the time to see what it actually was. After the Pi-Hole episode and a few other previous episodes, I now have a few Raspberry Pis on order, and "shutting my Pi-hole" is going to be my first order of business :). Lol

I have to say, THANK YOU Fr. Ballecer, for just as you've inspired me, I'm sure you've inspired countless others. I just "got to know you" (as though we've actually met... lol), but already I'm going to miss you. Keep up the good work.

God bless!

Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ You sure brought something special to the TWiT network and army I hope you won't be a stranger here with the occasional post. Just thinking though perhaps one more flying build before next September ;) Leo Laporte could fund it as a parting gift to take to Rome!

I am so sad to find out that you won't be at TWIT anymore. As all the other members told you, you mean so much to all of us and TWIT won't be the same without you. I know that the church comes first for you but I wish that technology was your only love so that we could continue to learn from you and enjoy your shows. In the end all we can do is be thankful for the time you have shared with us and hope that in the future you will be able to come back and be part of our life again. Thank you and God bless you.
