G+_Ken H
I know that I won't be looking to any Samsung Android device if they'll pull stunts like this one. At least not unless they are one of the Nexus devices where they don't have this control anyway http://www.androidpolice.com/2014/01/22/samsung-appears-to-have-started-blocking-third-party-accessories-starting-with-kitkat-on-the-note-3-but-there-is-a-root-solution/
G+_Feiris Wheel (Pat)
I have already decided I'm done with Samsung phones, I don't like where I see them heading with locked down hardware, and I have always hated touchwiz
G+_Paul Werner
Stew McCall I'm thinking it's deliberate since they have the specific chip that triggers the block.
G+_Chris Lefebvre
Well we know who WON'T be doing the next Nexus device , or at least hope wont be.
G+_L I
You're dead to me Sammy, I've seen this coming for a while now. The next step will be releasing phones with Tizen.?
G+_Marlon Thompson
I was a loyal Samsung fan, loved the S3. I have now gone Nexus and got my wife a moto G to replace her S3 mini..
G+_Elizabeth Whitmire
I love my GS3, but come upgrade time, it looks my choices now are Motorola or a Nexus phone. I guess I should thank Samsung for narrowing the field and making it easier to choose. :-\ ?
G+_Elizabeth Whitmire
Battery life is one reason I'm also thinking Motorola.
G+_thomas rinehart
Paul Werner I feel the same way. I guess they are going their own way. Could be bad for business.
G+_Dave Bach
I like what Motorola and LG are doing these days. As for Motorola I'd like them to focus on an even higher end device than the Moto X with a 1080p display and a micro SD card slot. $50 and $180 phones are great but not what I'm looking for. LG just needs to do what they do with the Nexus line and shelve the bloatware.
