G+_Travis Hershberger
So, +Jeff Brand brought up something I've been avoiding, even tho I know I need to get it done. FCC technician licensing is needed for most of the FPV gear being discussed. Anyone have the newbies guide or some sort of resources on what you need to do? G+_Jeff Brand
I hinted at it without providing direct links, but maybe start here: http://www.tested.com/tech/488686-what-you-should-know-about-getting-fcc-license-flying-fpv/
G+_Jeff Brand
It would be interesting if KH had a cross-over episode with Ham Nation on the topic...

G+_Ben Reese
I've considered getting the ham license myself. An old coworker about had me talked into it and was saying it's a real simple test.

G+_Jeff Brand
52Degrees I've been studying up with a free training guide from Dan Romanchik (KB6NU). I know some of the material from Physics class, others from my days on the engineering side of college radio. I doubt I'll get into ham radio, but the license would give me some knowledge at the intersection of a lot of personal interests.
