G+_Sam Scott
Hello Padre and Brian. In episode 280 Padre was talking about placing Chrome in a container. I was wondering could do episode on howto do that. If not where I can info on howto create my own containers in Windows 10.
G+_Travis Hershberger
Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ Has mentioned before that he's actually doing the containerized web browser with a Synology NAS unit. I could be wrong about that, it has been some time. G+_Ben Reese
I don't think he ever explained exactly how it was done, but I think it would be a great KnowHow episode. Perhaps a KH/Security Now/TWiET crossover? On the other hand... If one of the KITAs here could figure it out and create a video series, I'm sure it would get a ton of hits on YouTube. G+_Travis Hershberger
Hrm, I'm not sure that I'd do a YouTube video, but I would do a blog type walk through. I really should set something like this up anyway.
G+_David Wiggins
From what I imagine, it would something like a docker container running chrome and vnc. Then, set up the chrome shortcuts to open that vnc session instead. If audio is needed, a little extra work is needed to stream audio across the network. I bet there are dockerfiles for this out there already. Deploying one to a local or network docker instance should be doable.
