Just wanted to share one of my favorite RC flight spots, FliteTest.

I'm going to build their flying wing kit and in the process of buying parts ended up with a battery with a XT30 connector. From the image I thought it was a XT60, but scale is off (tiny battery!) This left me without the right connectors to the ESC.

A quick call to FT's phone support, and an adapter is in the mail for free.

Their selection isn't the widest, but they stand by their products. Their videos are excellent and it seems like they're actively breaking into hands-on STEM education programs related to RC flight.

Bryan Burnett, Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ, I know an interview with them was in the plans at some point. They overlap with the KH mission statement on more than multirotors. I'd love to see them on the show.

Is funny, I was just getting ready to share their site today and this post was already here. I think KH should do a FT Storch build and expand past Quads. a budget trainer that works with existing RC radios would be cool and if you have a FlySky radio you can buy the Storch quick build kit with the C electronics option and another reciever for about $120. Flysky recievers are cheap and the C electronics option includes motor, esc, and servos. I like that the foam core aircraft is so tough, makes it good for trainers.
