Hey Kitas!

I don't often share my projects, but I thought I would share this one as it could be helpful.

I'm currently in the process of making my home lab more space efficient (I always seem to get more stuff, not less!). One of the more useful changes was custom clip lead racks. There is also a jumper box not pictured. They are wall mounted using command strips for easy placement.

I posted the models (and fusion 360 files) to Thingiverse for download and modification.

You'll note the clip lead rack on the right (with the colored clip leads) is tiered. The Pomona clip lead racks we have at work are just horizontal. The problem with this is that the clip leads bump into their neighbor and make it difficult to fully fill the rack. To solve this, I use a tiered approach to lift each set above its neighbor.

The best part by far is name! "Fauxmona!" Hehe! =p

Mark Olson Thanks! FYI, in case you are an early downloader, late poster, I updated the fusion 360 files a few days later on the tiered model and the jumper box to be easier to modify using parameters (change number of slots). I'm still learning! :)

I also plan to upload the step files as well as stl for people who want them but don't have fusion 360, as I've recently learned how much easier it is to edit step vs stl. I totally forgot about it amidst school, work and other projects.
