G+_Robert Marshall
This makes no sense. I'd buy difference pricing on the different memory capacities (duh!!). But, to only offer the larger batter on the larger capacity? That makes no sense. To me, it would make more sense that they have two battery profiles, which you select from at the time of purchase/configuration. Sort of like the way you had "normal" sized batteries with the Thunderbolt, and then a large-profile sized battery with extra capacity that could be purchased as an option. G+_KJ Kim
Robert Marshall I agree with you that the association is a bit arbitrary but perhaps unintentional. The 32gb variant could have been intended as a premium model of sorts with the main features being larger capacity and longer battery life. That having been said, the prices once again is pretty nuts!
G+_James R
For me, I wish they had user swappable batteries. I wouldn't mind a relatively low battery size if I could carry around a backup battery or two.
G+_Robert Marshall
That's a good point James R . I forgot about it not having a user serviceable battery. Makes even less sense to have two different battery sizes.
G+_Jeffrey Fate
I like that they have some value add other than the 16GB of memory for $100. 16GB should not cost that much, so the increased battery life is a nice addition.
