G+_Jason Brown
You can't go wrong with a good old fashioned black and white kindle.
G+_Paul Hutchinson
I believe that all of the e-readers where discontinued in less than ten years except for the B&W E Ink Kindle. So if you want 10 year support Amazon Kindle is the best bet IMO.
G+_Stephen Hart
One factor is how many cycles the battery goes through. I think li batteries can handle 300 before declining. Even after the Li battery died it would probably still work while connected to a USB power bank.
G+_jim hatch
And if you go elsewhere all your books are as good as Farenheight 451. Why not? The kindle is aptly named. No selling or giving your books away. Still using my kindle touch on original battery, though I am a tech and will figure a replacement when time comes. Years in knapsack, bike bags plane bags, sat on, love it.

G+_jim hatch
Stephen Hart Yeah, dumped that whole Galaxy magazine release on it. Sad some authors prevented their stories from being allowed. Guess I will never read/buy their stuff.
