G+_T Burns
So, while waiting for replacement rotors to come in, I came up with an interesting use for InstaMorph after seeing a youtube video of a 450 with a canopy. So I took a bunch of Instamorph, a rolling pin, a lot of muscle to flatten it out, a die-cast model and ended up with a canopy for my 250. Of course, I don't see using this as an FPV and I've got to figure out how to secure it in place but it was a lot of fun to try. The canopy weighs in at 34g. G+_T Burns
Still waiting on the rotors, but I starting thinking . . . will the body interfere with the thrust of the rotors? The tips pass over the body slightly. Any body with aeronautical know-how know the answer?
G+_T Burns
In case anyone was wondering, the answer to my last question is no, it did not interfere with the aerodynamics, but it definitely interferes if the props connect with it in a rough landing! Good thing I had extra props.
