Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ   Looking for a little clarification on the PID tuning from ep 138. Should the tuning be done with Auto-level ON or OFF?

Heh. I've been wondering about that myself. My fear says "turn that self-leveling on!" but my understanding of the procedure says that turning leveling on will add another variable to the mix.

 

So, Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ, please let us know! Should I give in to fear or grab my courage, er, transmitter with both hands and go for it?

you can do it with it on, but its harder to tell if the quad is holding position like it should and you probably wont get a very accurate tune.
