G+_T Burns Posted May 16, 2015 Share Posted May 16, 2015 So, I've seen a lot of people using the Orange RX reciever. Is this like a universal reciever or is it only for Sprectrum Controllers? Is there a CPPM option for FlySky controllers? Also, does the Flip 1.5 support CPPM? I'd love to cut down on the number of wires. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
G+_Nick Whitworth Posted May 16, 2015 Share Posted May 16, 2015 The older Fly Sky receivers support CPPM. For some reason they removed it though. The CPPM signal used to come out on the battery/bind port. I've tested all three of my receivers and none of them work. I even probed around on the board to try to find a CPPM signal, but I came up with nothing. You could use a CPPM encoder (about $5) if you wanted to use the RC input pins for something else. The Flip (or any MultiWii FC) supports CPPM. It just has to be enabled when you compile and upload the firmware. I believe it comes in on the throttle input, but that may not be correct. ?
