G+_T Burns
Finally got all the parts together. My All-Up-Weight seems a little hefty at 745g! Anyone else have this problem? What did I do wrong? Details: I didn't want to do away with my Flip 1.5 case, so I made a top plate out of instamorph. Unfortunately, I used plastic standoffs below it that were too tall, so I had to disassemble and reassemble with shorter standoffs before I could get the long frame to attach. Now its a lot more responsive to the controls and flies more like I expected it to originally. The 1806s just aren't powerful enough to make it feel right and WAY to weak to do any kind of proper punch out. These 2208s make it respond more like you see on the youtube videos. I couldn't contain myself for very long after the initial control tests and I did a punch out just to feel the exhilaration. It was AWESOME! Thanks RTFQuads for the parts and Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ for the tips!
