G+_Jamie Campbell
Google Drive vs. OneDrive... Curious if this is typical. I tried to upload three large (4 GB Each (from the Woodstock Project)) files to OneDrive. Over and over, I received errors that terminated the upload. Not one of the three files ever uploaded. So I tried Google Drive. The upload took 27 hours, but all three were uploaded on the first try. I haven't seen much evidence that my ISP (Bell Aliant (I'm in Port La Tour, Nova Scotia)) is error prone, but has anybody else seen evidence that OneDrive is less error-tolerant than Google Drive? G+_Adam EL-Idrissi
I've never used one drive but I've used Google drive. With g drive I've uploaded files from a couple mb to 3gb from home,to mobile (t mobile) and work with all my traffic going through a VPN and it doesn't seem slow at all. I uploaded a 2gb file over the work WiFi going through a VPN and it took about 10 minutes . walking through different floors and it switching to different nodes in the mesh network. I do use drop box as well, only because my s4 gave me 30gb of free storage, and it seems slow. No matter where I use it. A 1.6gb file took 30 minutes no matter what I use for internet. G+_Alexis Zenios
We switched from Dropbox to onedrive at work because it was included in office 365 and has a lot of space. What I nightmare, onedrive has constant sync issues, and none of the functionality of Dropbox. Wish I could trade some of that space for a system that actually works.
