G+_Akira Yamanita Posted February 6, 2015 Share Posted February 6, 2015 It sounds very similar to Aruba's Instant line of APs but with added router functionality and wireless mesh. It sounds great if they can implement it well and securely. I'm assuming that you'd have to wire up the additional units at least temporarily to setup the wireless mesh. You can't just have them joining whatever network happens to be nearby. Still, that would be fantastic. Setup the router, plug in the other units to the LAN, then just move them to whatever areas need coverage (with proper mesh design in mind).
