G+_Joel G. J
Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ #Feedback There is a better alternative to deactivating flash completely on the browser. You can set it to only activate when clicked on. On Chrome: Go to Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Content Settings -> Click Manage under Plugins -> Choose "Let me choose to run plugin content" from dropdown menu. On Firefox: Go to Addons -> Choose from dropdown next to flash "Ask to Activate" And for those curious, this setting works in Incognito mode. Hope this was helpful. G+_Greg M
Regarding using VLC to play the Bitgravity Twit stream I have been doing this for years using a similar method: to use bitgravity low in vlc in Windows create a shortcut "C:\Program Files (x86)\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe" http://bglive-a.bitgravity.com/twit/live/low If you want to use the bitgravity high stream simply replace the "low" with "high" (without the quotes. I also have VLC set to always be on top of other windows so that the Twit live stream is always visible.
G+_Bernard Bout
Cool idea. I had been using "Flash block" before.
G+_Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ
I hate the annoying "do you want to run flash" popup... it mocks me... it mocks me... and I shall have it. I'll chase it round the Moons of Nibia and round the Antares Maelstrom and round Perdition's flames before I give it up!
G+_Travis Hershberger
Personally I like NoScript. No annoying popups, and if I REALLY want to see something all I have to do is right-click on it.
