Speaking of Backups, will there be an alt way to connect with Know How in case Google+ "goes Enterprise"? Reddit Subreddit? Custom Forum? Any ideas "out of the box" ?

Add a social network. To the cms may be an option that way twit has control over the information and how it is organized.

Many features could be added to upgrade the most used features people use.

 

On a side note these may be transferable to and from google+ I would think.

Just use ifttt, or maybe some php really

I've used Slack (in a small group) and liked it. I'm not a fan of Google+. Unless you reply to a post you don't get updates. And the only view is a Block. I like a linear discussion board.
