After watching this week's show, I thought you guys might like my crazy monitor support system. I have 4 monitors, well 3 monitors and a tv that's acting like a monitor.

 

The monitors rest on a rail system. The mounts that sit on the rails are made out of 2 black pipes where slit open, flattened out and welded together to make an elongated c. The C clips onto the two 1 1/2 emt pipes that run the length of my desk. The tv is mounted on a tv ceiling mount that sits upside down.

 

It works ok, but I should have made the rails out of some thicker walled tubing. I also made one of the monitor arms and, well, it's a joke. But I did make this thing when I was about 16 so, I could do a way better job now.

 

P.S. Yes, my desk is a mess.

I've got a 4 monitor setup with 2 24", 19 and 20. Bought it off amazon for $60. Should've gotten something like your 3 monitors instead of 2 on 2

Adam EL-Idrissi Yea, I'm not a fan of stacking monitors. I use my tv for video editing, which is above my monitors. After 10-20 minutes of editing, my neck will start to hurt.

lol, I bet there is a working toilet integrated in the chair you use at that desk, so one never has to stand up and go to another room... just joking
