G+_Anders Berglund
Some episode ago you talked about setting up a guest network with two wireless routers. I have managed to set that up behind my ADSL modem (Zyxel P-660H-D1) using two ethernet cables (one Asus N65U on 192.168.2.1 and one Airport Extreme on 10.0.1.1. Both networks are working fine but... Now I can't access my webserver whitch is connected to one of the WAN connections on the Asus. My guess is that it somehow does'nt get trough the Zyxel modem but how do I fix this if it is possible. G+_Ben Reese
So your server is now behind a dual-nat network. To get traffic to your server, you'll have to open ports (port forwarding) on both your modem/router (Zyxel pointing to the WAN IP of your Asus) and on your Asus router (pointing to your Web server). ? If your Web server is just a Web server and you're not trying to protect it from anything else, it could be connected directly to the Zyxel modem/router and port forwarding only needs to be setup once. G+_Anders Berglund
Well one of the webservers are also acting as a samba server for my media collection so that is not an option. So I hope someone can guide me on how to set up the Zyxel. At least it is there I am doing it wrong.
G+_Ben Reese
Ah. Well someone else might have experience with the specific device. Best I could do is point you to the owners manual found here: http://www.zyxel.com/uk/en/support/download_library/product/p_660h_series_19.shtml?c=uk&l=en&pid=20100105094552&tab=User_s_Guide&pname=P-660H%20Series&mtname=User%27s%20Guide Section 8.5 on Port Forwarding starts on page 133. Here, "default server" is most likely for DMZ, so I would just leave that at default (disabled/0.0.0.0). Add a new rule for your webserver, but instead of the server's IP you'll have to have to give it the WAN IP of Asus router. The Asus and Airport WAN IPs are local IPs to the Zyxel while the WAN IP of your Zyxel is your actual public IP (presuming you have it setup as I would expect). It looks like the default range for Zyxel probably starts at 10.10.1.2 like the internal IP on your Airport so it might get a bit confusing. I hope this helps some - sorry I don't have any experience with that brand.
