The best app to share locations with people is Glympse and Glympse express.

 

Glympse is fantastic, and the express add on is good for non tech types to one press send out their location. I use it with the wife, and with my mates when going the football.

Stephen Butler? Have you tried the location sharing natively on google maps? Is it any good?

Rithesh Natarajan? it is good, but it's on or off, or was the last we tried it out. My lad was caught bunking school, so made him keep native tracking on, otherwise he'd lose his phone. So he got to keep his phone, and we got to keep an eye on him. Not that we did, but he couldn't take the risk. ?

 

But for quick temporary tracking and location sharing Glympse is the best.
