G+_William Tate
Hey Iyaz, how about a episode on backing up old home movies. I know there was a episode about backing up DVDs, but how about VHS tapes, or others. I know services like imemories can do it for a cost. I'd just like to see all the options you could come up with :)
G+_Harold Crews
You need a video capture device and software to capture, edit and render the video. It's an immense subject.
G+_William Tate
Yeah sort of why I thought it would be a good show. I have taken some from a vhs player to a stand alone dvd recorder. I was looking into doing this again and was Trying to decide if I should get a capture card, or use analog convert that plugs in via usb. Just trying to think of show ideas that could help out others. :)
G+_Harold Crews
I use a Canopus 110 converter. Back before cutting the cord I would capture quite a few movies for my collection. Now I only use it to capture SD video from my old videocam. I believe Iyaz and Leo did a show a few months ago on turning a pc into a media center. There's some overlap there concerning video cards.
