G+_Jason Hammond
I have setup a small raspberry pi lab station for my 7 year old son and his 8 year old cousin. :)
G+_Gilles Fourchet
Nice piece of work Jason. One question for you: would you say it is powerful enough to watch videos? I'm thinking of doing the same but if the kids cannot watch Netflix, I guess it is a no no (from their perspective of course :-) ). Thanks, Gilles
G+_Jason Hammond
I believe you can set the pi 3s up to stream Netflix. I have seen things out there that allow you to setup pis as media stations. This is more of an activity center for them. I bought them the Raspberry pi starter kit from osoyoo.com - | Project Tutorial for Arduino compatible products. this can with bread board led lights a motion sensor resistors and much more. It more to get them into the diy stuff and learn the basics. Yesterday I had them so a simple project of getting an led light to blink on and off. It didn't work. I am not sure if things were not hooked up right or if the code was bad. Going to do a little research to see if I can't get it to work then have them try again. ?
