G+_Sam Patel
I have an old Lenovo T430s laptop with a 120 SSD currently in it. I'd like upgrade to a bigger SSD. Any suggestions on brand/model etc.? Thanks!
G+_Ben Reese
Depends on your price range. I'm pretty happy with the Samsung EVO 850, but others might recommend springing for the 950. The Kingston V300 is a bit cheaper, but I've heard of a few failing.

G+_Travis Hershberger
Samsung Pro line if you can afford it, EVO line if you need to save money.
G+_Sam Patel
Ben Reese Thanks for the suggestion. I looked on the Samsung site and used their SSD Selection Tool. They have 3 categories under Consumer SSD. Is the category of "2.5inch & SATA" the category I want? I'm leaning towards the Samsung 850 EVO 1TB. http://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/util/selection.html
G+_Ben Reese
Yes, I doubt the T430 has a M.2 slot, so 2.5" would be the only option. You may also consider getting a cheaper SSD then replacing the DVD with a 2.5" drive bay where you could put a larger HDD. Just a thought.
G+_Ben Reese
Steve Wolf I still prefer USB. Plus I don't follow 321 like I know I should. I'd just rather have the extra storage.
G+_Ben Reese
If I had a BR burner I may consider optical media for backup, but I've got over a TB of home pics/videos. Ain't nobody got time for that. I'm betting on CrashPlan until I get my NAS setup.
