Some people may like the screen size 21.5 inch, a tablet that size would be a pretty penny. I would think the price will be less than a desktop Pc or a Mac. So I could see people buying them, I am not saying it will be a hit but I don't think LG will lose money. I know I want a Chrome OS device, I don't know which one though.

For me, it's all about the feel. I have a Dell PC that works all right and dual-boots Ubuntu, but I want to use it more as a media/game server and to run Scrivener (which doesn't have a ChromeOS port). I have a Chromebook, which I love for its simplicity and the intuitiveness of the OS, but when I'm in my office and trying to get things done, the laptop feels too small to immerse myself in my work.

This thing, with the ability to act as a monitor for another PC, could be perfect. It runs ChromeOS for most of my day, and when I need something more, I switch over to the PC.

Sure, I could do everything on the PC and save some money, but there is something about ChomeOS that I really like. Maybe it's how lightweight it is, or that it's based on Linux, or that I'm impressed with how much can be done with the web, but every time I try to put the Chromebook away and stick with the PC, I always come back to it.

Because everyone isn't an Apple fanatic like yourself and may not want a machine that will cost them thousands of dollars.  Chrome OS can do many things... basically you can mimic and manipulate the entire Microsoft Office suite, you can remote into other machines and have a Windows/Mac machine running on it... simply put, they are extremely useful.  Dude, don't slam or marginalize products just because you're biased to another manufacturer... which you are.... heavily.

Yeah, I have noticed you acting as a spoiled brat when you create a thread, and delete my replies. Not used to being argued against, are you?

ChromeOS is the desktop equivalent of iOS in many ways, with its restrictions on what you can install etc. If the freedom of Android is an argument against iOS, why isn't the freedom of a real Linux distro plus Chromium an argument against this stripped-down browser-focused reinvention of the network terminal?

So, whenever you go on one of your six-year-old rants about some Apple news you apparently are incapable of ignoring, just pretend the first reply is this:

"Well goody goody gum drops for you, aren't you a special little snowflake!?

just because it's not for you doesn't mean it isn't for someone else.

Last I checked, the earth doesn't revolve around Lou"
