G+_Jon Cooper
Feeling Dumb! I started a upgrading a macbook pro with an SSD and removing the optical drive and replacing it with the old spinning drive. SSD went in fine but I have stripped the head of one of the screws that old the optical drive to the chassis. Any ideas guys.

G+_Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ
So the screw is stuck in the chassis?
G+_Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ
Here's a few things I've successfully used to remove stripped screws: 1. Use a different sized screwdriver or a different TYPE - Often I can use a larger philips driver OR a torx bit that can bit into the stripped screw head. 2. Rubber band: Take a rubber band, stretch the end around the tip of the screwdriver, then push it into the stripped head and SLOWLY unscrew it. 3. Slot it: Using a Dremel tool, notch a slot in the remaining head material... enough to get a flat screwdriver tip to grip. Good Luck.
