G+_Peter Harpur
Hey Bryan Burnett, Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ does not have to be the only one with head-tracking tech. There's poor-man's solution that you might be interested in. It's a DIY head tracker that costs only 20 bucks! It's an arduino nano with an IMU (inertial measurement unit). I'm adding one to my HK Quanum Headset. Check out the original forum post at: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1677559. We can thank the creator, Dennis Frie for all the hard work that he has given away for free. DIY, opensource, arduino, coding, cheap... seems like a perfect know how project. Perhaps Padre can explain PWM vs PPM and how to feed this signal into the trainer port of the transmitter. Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ might describe it as a little "jank" though. Keep up the good work. Cheers, Pete http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1677559
