G+_Christopher Copping
I kind of hate to say it, because I actually really enjoy Android, but they are kind of right. There really is no reason why any phone should have anything less than Jelly bean at this point, and when Marshmallow comes out, then the lowest should be KitKat. G+_Jeff Springer
Greg Szarama Nothing for me, but if I were one of the people running Jelly Bean in 2015 I'd feel like it's a problem.
G+_Michael Shada
Is this any different than an old iPad that never gets updates?? Or an old iPad that won't run newer apps?
G+_Jeff Springer
Michael Shada? I'm an Android guy, but to be fair to Apple they do keep their phones and tablets updated for quite a few generations. Also, in Android whether you get 2 updates or 10 depends on the manufacturer and phone. Not so with Apple.
G+_Barry Smith
They could do what apple do and give a number update where all the updates don't work? but it looks like all the devices are running the same thing? cloaks and mirrors!!! G+_Wojtek T
When it comes to android version numbers - it is fragmented. But the numbering is not important since android has had Google play services.
G+_L I
Google Play services doesn't fix every problem. E.g. Stagefright and webview.
