G+_Kevin Spitzer (JaguarXT
Intel needs to keep an eye on ARM it's getting stale, with full Windows 10 running on ARM end of 2017 and Apple A series chipset impressive performance the non enterprise market could be here for the taking. G+_Randy Hudson
I don't think so. Not for a while anyway. Initially Windows 10 on ARM is going to be largely dependant on emulation and is expected to yield performance similar to Atom chips only with much better energy efficiency. For that reason I predict this to be primarily used for mobile devices. Anyone who needs to do real work is going you need more horsepower. Enterprise desktops are going to remain Intel for the foreseeable future. But then you already said that.
