Finishing up my 550 HexCopter build.  Still can't figure out how to hold down the battery. (putting it between bottom/top plates.)

 

But thought of a good way to hold down the Flight Controller, RC rx, telemetry x-ciever etc.  The 3M Command strips!  Very light and with a good rubbing alcohol cleaning/prep, it will hold great.

Harold, so you want a little drone-porn?  I'll take a few pics soon.  The standard wiring/cabling bother the *&&%$^^ out of me. (I'm a wiring Himmler )  I plan on making my one power/signal frame-plate. (less weight, I am the gram-Miester also)

I like a layer of 3/4 inch soft foam with battery sitting on top. Squish down battery and then use Velcro strap to hold down. This is nice especially if you have a variety of battery sizes. The compressed foam holds enough tension to keep batter from sliding around.
