G+_Eddie Foy
So Come Monday (June 1st) .... Did I hear Leo right on SN? TWiT live will actually be not live, but just a stream of about a 2 hour delay? (Am looking forward to new website! Old one was a bit cumbersome, but still useful.)
G+_Eddie Foy
LOL Wayne Hobbins (reading the first) if its a 3 hour delay, its not 'live' (unless its FOX News :P ) Also means no more chat-room ( but heard Leo talk about the demise of that too. ) So much for a interactive experience. TWiT has faded into the background noise of internet noise and is now just another podcast, with zero distinction. (also the TWiET Riot has been nullified) Even the Today Show will read current active tweets.
G+_Eddie Foy
Gonna miss the pre-post show stuff. 2/3 of The Tech Guy is off air stuff (even watched Leo say the callers to that call-in talk show 'don't matter')
G+_Ben Reese
http://inside.twit.tv/blog/2015/5/27/the-evolution-of-twit-live.html I understand why they're canceling the live stream, but it's still a bit disappointing. Even though I never logged into the chat room, I think we saw a huge benefit from the interactions. I don't know that anyone relied on the chat room the way Leo does. G+_Eddie Foy
Viewers are of little importance other then #'s to leverage to advertisers for cash. (Hell, Robert said KH is a show 'of what He and Brian are doing'. Its a show for them not the viewers. If we like it, cool.)
G+_Rich Fowler
Leo just announced on TWIT that they're going to make live/non-live on the stream optional for each show's producer, and they're going to look into fixing IRC. Yay.
