G+_Eddie Foy
RADIUS/WIFI issue. I have a Synology NAS running a RADIUS server Asus RT-N66R router (as an AP only) I can connect no problem via 5.8GHz, but 2.4 won't. PEAP with User/PW authentication. I've only tried it with Android devices. Anything with a RJ-45 gets wired. (just gave a shot on a MBP, same deal 5.8 is OK, 2.4 isn't) Also tried the guest network with no joy. Ideas? G+_Joshua Hamlett
I'm not super familiar with RADIUS, but my guess is that that is not where your problem is. I take it nothing connects to the router on its 2.4 GHz channel at all? The problem is not with the RADIUS authentication? I would reset the wireless router, check its settings, and make sure that there isn't interference coming from other Wireless APs or other electronic devices. G+_Eddie Foy
Thanks. Was typing a replay when a light bulb went off (wrong one, but found the right one in my search.) Seems for some reason the 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz on the router can have different passwords to the RADIUS server (which is separate from the user name/pw authentication of the wireless clients) Working now. Didn't matter much, my current cell and tab support 5.8, just the old stuff doesn't.
G+_Michael Heinz
Remember to turn off your quadcopter's radio controller when you get home - it might be interfering.... ;-)
G+_Eddie Foy
It was the dual passwords for the router>radius server.
