G+_George Kozi
It is comical and bordering on idiotic how some commenters in the articles bundled call Office "crapware". That "crapware" my friends, is the thing enterprise runs on, your salaries are calculated on, the official correspondence is written on. It's the thing most people who work, know how to use. Office, is the serious stuff. If you are talking business, you are talking Microsoft stuff. If you want selfies and apps that say "yo", you are in different watters.? G+_Richard Foster
Crapware, no. But if you don't use it (my parents would probably not have any use for Access, OneNote or Publisher, for example) it could still be considered Bloatware.
G+_Eric Young
Not completely true for the new wave of businesses. The only thing remaining of value from Microsoft is excel.
G+_Douglas Jenkins
George Kozi Yes, MSOffice is what has been used by business and is the "serious stuff," not because of its superiority, but because of greed, underhanded coding to shut out competition and sold as "the standard." Since 1999, I have used a variety of free and open source office suites, but no one who received any of my files, documents or data has noticed a difference. And here is the kicker ... I can still open documents from a variety of word processors dating back to 1990 with the latest release. Try that with MSOffice 201X!
